As today I was passing by a pavement,I saw a group of people
taking out glass bottles from the road dustbins. I was little bit happy because
it was a for the purpose of recycling those things. But what irritated me the
most was that those people who were taking out the bottles threw all the
garbages from the dustbin to the road making the whole area dirty.
On October 2nd,2014 on the occasion of Gandhi
Jayanti our own honorable Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi addressed the whole
nation declaring the movement “Swach Bharat Abhiyan”. He said on his speech
that on 2nd October 2019 he would gift Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi a
clean India. But are people really joining hands on this movement? As I always
walk from school to home I literally always see wrappers of chips, chocolates ,
cold drink cans and everything else littered on the roadside. Some people don’t
have the civic sense that the roads should be treated like their home and that no
one should throw garbage in their homes. The famous comedian of India Mr.Kapil
Sharma on his Dubai episode said that once people of India become NRIs they
think a thousand times before throwing anything on public places, but in India
, if you pass by a newly white washed wall , after a few days you will probably
see red stains on those beautiful walls. The Government is trying their best
effort in giving Gandhi a Swach Bharat but how much are we contributing towards
it? People always eat those stupid tobacco and throw their wrappers and do not
give an effort to find a dustbin and throw it there. People from other
countries come to India for its famous Heritage and Culture. Why not try to
show the foreigners that India can also be a clean country in addition to a
culture-filled one. Let us indeed try to make our country “A VERY CLEAN AND GREEN INDIA”..3
